Qualifications

Joanne qualified as a nurse in 1985. She then went on to complete a post registration certificate in Ophthalmic nursing, which lead to oversea's work as a theatre sister, specialising in eye surgery & plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. In 1993 Joanne returned to the UK and took up a post as a theatre nurse at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.

At the end of 1993, Joanne decided to take on a new challenge and entered the medical & surgical device industry as a nurse advisor and product consultant, lasting 13 years.

However, it was her long held interest and strong belief in complementary therapies that was the deciding factor in establishing The Corn House Clinic in 2006.
